My 2018 Favourite Reads

I haven’t been able to read a huge amount in 2018, but the books I read really stuck with me. Because of my limited time, I was very selective and I think it worked.

L’amica Geniale (My Brilliant Friend) – Elena Ferrante

Reading it by the beach in Italy certainly helped, but this book has been an amazing discovery. A story of a friendship and of a country. And beautifully written!

The Hate You Give – Angie Thomas

This books is one that I can’t stop recommending people to read. I can’t describe it, I wouldn’t be able to do it justice. All I will say is if you could only pick up one book in 2019, it should be this one.

The One Minute Manager – Ken Blanchard & Spencer Johnson

An essential read for busy first time managers. You can read it in one sitting and start improving your management style straight away. I picked up after my partner recommend it & found it very helpful for my first management position.

Crazy Rich Asians – Kevin Kwan

Relatable and faboulos at the same time. I absolutely loved this book. It was fun to read and made me fall in love with Singapore.

The Curated Closet – Anuschka Rees

Let’s just say that my closet has never been more me than right now. If you’d like some help finding your personal style, this is the book for you!
